Kite uses Multifactor Authentication (MFA) when logging into Educator Portal. MFA adds an additional layer of security by requiring users to provide two or more verification factors to gain access to systems and applications, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorized access even if a password is compromised.

After entering your password, you will receive an emailed code that must be entered to successfully login to Educator Portal. Each login attempt will create a new MFA code.

There is a new option to send the code to your cell phone number as of Summer 2026. Please reference the Test Coordinator Manual found in the Educators and Test Administrators section for updates and additional information. You would add the SMS phone number in My Profile.
