To strengthen security protection for our users and apps, Kite uses Multifactor Authentication (MFA) when logging into Kite Educator Portal. MFA adds an important layer of security by requiring a two-step verification process, reducing the risk of unauthorized access and helping keep our systems secure and reliable for all users.
How it Works
When logging into Educator Portal, you’ll enter your password and then confirm your identity with a unique verification code sent to your email. Additional details and instructions can be found in the Educator Portal section on the KAP FAQ page.
Remembering Your Device
Educator Portal also gives users the option to remember their device for 30 days; however, this feature relies on browser cookies.
- If the browser’s cookies are cleared (manually or automatically when the browser closes), you will be asked to re-enter an access code—even if you selected “remember this device.”
- To avoid this, most browsers allow you to add exceptions for specific URLs under their Privacy and Security settings. (Ex. On the Firefox browser, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Cookies and Site Data Section > Manage Exceptions.)
