KAP Balanced Assessment System offers Kansas students a unified and coherent assessment experience that has specifically been designed for them. Student learning is at the center. We are proud of the continuous collaboration with Kansas teachers from across the state who share their expertise, advocate for their students, and shape the state assessment system.

The Interim Assessments for 2025 and beyond are aligned to the rigor of the summative, reduced to twice a year at the request of districts, and have new interactive reporting tools to help drill down to more actionable data.
